The primary responsibilities are basic cooking support services, following standardized kitchen policies and procedures.Duties include prep work, ware washing, kitchen cleaning, and dining room maintenance and set up.Receiving and storing of food deliveries and general kitchen duties also fall under the responsibility of this role. The Incumbent is required to think on their feet and adapt to a rapidly changing food services environment.The secondary role of this position is to ensure room turnover and refurbishment based on required timelines. This includes bed linen changes and exchanges.In addition to daily responsibilities within the Centre, the incumbent may be required to work at an alternate locations.QualificationsSome High School education is required. Basic knowledge of food preparation and use of kitchen equipment and systems in required. General knowledge of food handling procedures is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must have the ability to work independently for significant periods of time.
