The Carman Community Health Centre is a modern and progressive facility complete with established EMR system and E-Chart Manitoba access. The facility is conveniently located adjacent to the Carman Memorial Hospital. The practice would include providing primary care services, in patient services and ER services (on call 1:5). Your practice would be supported by professional support staff and the practice is managed by the C.W. Wiebe Medical Corporation. The Carman Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed acute care centre with an active surgical program. The beautiful community of Carman http://www.carmanmanitoba.ca/ is well known for its superb recreational and educational services and conveniently located only 45 minutes west of Winnipeg. The medical centre is supported by the community and areas non-profit Carman Community Medical Centre Board.Qualifications:

  • To provide emergency coverage at any acute care centre in the region you must have current ACLS and PALS certification
  • Must be eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
  • Given the cultural diversity of our region, the ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population is required
  • Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job
  • Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality including paper, electronic formats and other mediums
  • Proficiency of both official languages is essential for target and designated bilingual positions
  • Good work and attendance record
Conditions of Employment:
  • Completes and maintains a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check and Child Abuse Registry Check, as appropriate.
  • All Health Care workers are required to be immunized as a condition of employment in accordance with Southern Health-Santé Sud policy.
