SPEND THE SUMMER ON BEAUTIFUL HORNBY ISLANDHELP WANTED – BUS DRIVERThe 20 passenger Hornby Island Community Bus is seeking a Driver for this summer. The job runs late June to early September. Looking for a mature, experienced driver with a minimum 3-year clean drivers record and a Class 4 unrestricted driver’s license.Responsibilities are in line with a small, one bus, operation. Expectations include a professional outlook to safety checks, routine maintenance, appearance of the bus, fueling, public relations, and reliability.The successful applicant will be working with the drivers’ driver/manager who communicates with the Bus Steering Committee. It is very helpful to have access to accommodation on Hornby.
