Job Description

The Position: Summit Search Grouphas partnered with an organization looking to recruit their next Branch Manager. The Branch Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operational management of the branch including understanding safe methods for work procedures, invoicing processes, accounts receivable, and importance of all company related deadlines. The successful candidate will ensure all team members are competently trained to do all tasks required to perform in the branch, and will adhere to the culture of safety, working towards eliminating all unsafe behaviour and striving towards a zero-harm environment.Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of the branch and its employees.
  • Installation, balance, rotation and repair of passenger, light truck, commercial, industrial, and ag tires.
  • Inspection of tires and wheels for correct inflation, wear patterns, tread depth and damage.
  • Work with tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
  • Maintenance of service equipment.
  • Speciality tire work including: studding of passenger and light truck tires, submitting commercial casings for retreading, run flat tires, etc.
  • Completion of assigned courses; Tire Industry Association (TIA), and other related courses.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to maintain and develop relationships with team members and customers.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience delivering effective results and meeting tight deadlines and targets.
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to consistently lift 25kg.
