Kirsch Construction (2008) Ltd. is currently looking to fill the position(s) of heavy equipment operator(s) & crushing site groundsman.The preferred experience for a heavy equipment operator is operating a loader, dozer, excavator and/or grader and the preferred experience for a groundsman is prior experience working on a crushing site.Each individual requires a Class 5 driver’s license. A class 1A license would be considered an asset.The following are key requirements:- Heavy Equipment Operator: Minimum of 1 year of wheel loader, dozer, excavator and/or grader experience preferred- Groundman: prior experience working on a gravel crushing site- A positive attitude- Attention to detail- Completion of daily production reports, maintenance reports, near misses, incident reports, and safety meetings.- Consideration will be given to applicants who possess the following:- Working knowledge of an aggregate crushing plant- General maintenance and repair at a crushing plant- The position(s) are very safety sensitive and the successful applicants will adhere to both the safety and specific job site requirements in order to maintain a safe, productive and clean work environment.The applicant must possess the following attributes:- Physically fit, mechanically inclined, and able to identify problem areas and make corrections as necessary which may include equipment problems and/or changes to product quality.- Loyal individual that pays attention to detail and take pride in their work including the quality of the product being produced and the equipment.Applicants must be willing to work away from home and able to travel around central and Northern Saskatchewan. The applicant must also be willing to work longer hours.We have an excellent team and appreciate a positive addition to our team.
