Labourer – Lanigan, SaskatchewanProcor Limited manages Canada’s largest private tank car lease fleet and operates an extensive repair network across the country. Our fleet has grown to include more than 30,5000 special purpose tank and freight cars. Procor also operates 28 repair locations servicing the petroleum, petrochemicals, plastics, chemicals, fertilizers and food markets.We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable Labourer. This position reports to the Supervisor, Lanigan, and services our customers at their site. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced individual looking for an opportunity in an organization that offers advancement.Job Summary: The Labourer will be responsible for assisting with the repair requirements of the customers while completing work in a safe and Responsible Care environment.· Organizing all tool areas and maintaining the facility· Servicing, repair and replacement of rail car components, including:o hopper gates, top hatch covers, running boards, brake shoes, knuckle pins, truck springs, bearing adaptors, friction casting wear plates, etco Working from heights and in confined spaces· Exterior/Interior corrosion repairs· Exterior/Interior paint preparation, repairs and stenciling· Inspection and repair of safety appliances· Assisting in setup and teardown of safe work areas· Working both inside the facility and outdoors as required· Adhere to health and safety standards, including Procor’s Responsible Care policy· Additional related duties as assigned· Training will be provided by Procor to develop competency in the above tasksThe regular working hours of this position are as follows: Monday to Thursday from 6:30am to 4:00pm., One week 36- work week. Second week Monday to Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a 44-hour work week. These hours may change depending on business requirements.Competencies: Legally entitled to work in Canada
