REACT is hiring a Full time Landfill Assistant/Compactor OperatorPosition is located at the RM of Leroy Landfill. Location SE31-35-21W2. It is located 25 minutes from Humboldt and 20 minutes from Leroy.We offer competitive wages depending on experience and/or certification. Benefits after 3 months and matching Pension Plan.Must be familiar with SK roads in all seasons. This position is located in a Rural area at our newer landfill.Duties: Ensure Regulations and Permits are adhered to as per the Ministry of Environment Regulations, meet compliance.-Follow all safety and emergency protocols -Operate compactor most of the day daily as per specifications for landfill-Fill out daily logs, perform pre and post equipment inspections -Assist in picking up windy debris/litter when required. Our compound is fenced in, plough snow-Must be mechanically inclined, willing to train -First aid, machinery and other certifications an asset -Must be a team worker and also be able to work independently.--Assist Supervisor with maintenance as required for site and other duties as assigned.Minimum Class 5 is required.
