It’s the personal touch that counts!The Position:We have an opening for a Commercial Insurance Advisor to join our team at our branch office in Huntsville, ON.What you will be doing:Service Independent Business Unit accounts as well as writing new businessProvide customers with prompt service by providing advice, help customers understand insurance, discuss customer concernsReview and provide processing instructions on all incoming commercial paperworkAssist with quotes to customers, write new business, review existing coverage and update customer file informationPrepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, issue insurance certificatesReview and provide processing instructions on endorsements, and follow up on paymentsCommunicate with Insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on customers behalf, negotiate renewal of terms, follow up with Adjusters on claims statusSource and obtain additional information requested by the underwriter and complete applicationsWhat you bring to the table:High School Diploma and/or Post-Secondary EducationTwo or more years of customer service experience2 to 3 years of insurance experienceRIBO Insurance License is preferred or must obtain upon hireExposure to EPIC is an assetProficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, OutlookExcellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolutionDemonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfullyStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWhat’s in it for you:Commitment to your growth and developmentFlexibility in how and where you workA competitive compensation packageFlexible health and dental benefits packageAn RRSP with a company matching componentA casual ‘dress for your day’ environmentBe a part of a company that is one of Canada’s best employers (Named by Kincentric in 2020)We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.BrokerLink is committed to providing an accessible environment.
