AGTA Home Health Care Simcoe County is dedicated to providing high quality, 24-hour Home Health care in Ontario. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated PSWs, DSWs and RPNs to assist our clients with day-to-day tasks that they have difficulty with.PSW/DSW Responsibilities: (All candidates must be willing and able to perform activities of daily living tasks including, but not limited to): - Provide exceptional personal care according to sheet directions on the established care plan or work assignment (including hygiene, peri-care, bladder / bowel care, bathing, grooming, positioning & movement, exercise, basic wound care, assistance with oxygen administration, medication reminder, etc.) in their own homes.- Assistance with meal preparation and feeding special diets- Housekeeping duties- Companionship and attend medical appointments- Assist with Mobility and transfers, as needed- Complete other tasks as requiredRequirements Include: - Excellent attendance and punctuality- Personal Support Worker Certificate, Developmental Service Workers or currently enrolled in a Nursing Program) or RELEVANT Work Experience / Certification OR Foreign Training- Valid CPR & First Aid Certification- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening- Updated Immunizations/Hep B. and TB Test completed within past 12-24 months- Two Working Supervisory References; (one can be academic/professor/instructor)- Willing to travel to client’s homes- Strive to be client-centered, compassionate, positive, solution-oriented, professional, and flexible
