Job Description

Daiken North America LTD is seeking a dependable, hard-working Production Associate for our Huntsville, ON facility, (formerly Panolam Surface Systems).In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production schedule is met on time while observing the highest standards of safety and quality.Daiken North America LTD seeks reliable, punctual, and team-oriented individuals with the ability to perform physical tasks and work in a collaborative manufacturing environment.Daiken North America LTD:We are located in beautiful, tranquil Huntsville! Responsibilities:
  • Work on the production floor with consistent speed and accuracy.
  • Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently.
  • Follow all procedures, and work instructions for all product types.
  • Must be able to identify materials, and determine and verify quantities.
  • Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care.
  • Report any machinery issues to management.
  • Work cooperatively with the production team to meet goals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
  • Able to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends.
  • Must be available for overtime.
  • Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals.
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines.
  • Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
