A premier family resort and marina offering consistently genuine and authentic hospitality to our Guests and co-workers.FUNCTION: As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, your attention to detail will show the Housekeeping team that you are committed to providing a luxury guest experience. The energy and enthusiasm you display will create a “fun†place to work.Responsibilities· Clean and reset guest cottages and suites according to established standards.· Organize and stock cleaning cart and organize linen rooms assigned.· Complete accurately, and in a timely manner, any assigned paperwork.· Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.· Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests.· Report any repairs or maintenance required in rooms promptly to the Housekeeping Office· Proper usage of cleaning products including wearing all required Personal Protective equipment· Be security conscious and report any unusual and suspicious people to the Housekeeping Manager· Following all training provided on Safe Work Practices and job procedures to ensure a safe, environment for all guests and colleagues· Promptly report any lost and found to the Housekeeping Manager· Must adhere and know Emergency/Fire Procedure responsibilities towards the hotel and our Guests.· All other duties as assignedEmployee Perks: Use of on-site amenities such as waterfront, canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, tennis courts, hiking trails, and close access to Algonquin Provincial ParkEmployee Accommodations: Housing provided at $100/week with a bonus incentive upon completion of the contractPort Cunnington Lodge is an inclusive employer.
