6400 HWY 400 SOUTHBOUND, INNISFIL, L9S 3R7ONroute is the proud operator of 23 convenient plazas located along Highways 400 and 401 in Ontario. Our locations are designed to provide travellers with fresh and exciting food and beverage options, gas, and other amenities that improve your travel experience.We are hiring a part/full time Janitor/Cleaner/Custodian to be a part of our Utility Team at ONroute! If you are interested in working at the ONroute travel plaza - Apply Now!Position: Janitor/Cleaner Aide (Part time/Full Time)This is what you’ll be doing:The Janitor / Cleaner is primarily a health and safety related position at ONroute to ensure that the required level of cleaning standards are maintained as well as disinfection of the plaza, equipment and overall space.

  • Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around building
  • Cleaning and disinfecting all surface areas including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows
  • Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals
  • Picking up any trash and emptying the trash bins
  • Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Responding to employee or guest requests
  • Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
  • Performs additional duties as needed

Wage: $15 per hour (Shift Premium Available)Shifts:
  • 6.00am - 3.00pm
  • 3.00pm - 11.00pm
  • 11.00pm - 6.00am
