Job Description

Our Story Minco had it’s beginning on April 19th, 1972 at an organizational meeting, which was called to look into the feasibility of a natural gas system. This system was to serve the rural community between Vegreville and Vermilion with natural gas.Initially, this system was formed under the name of the “County of Minburn Natural Gas Co-op Ltd”. Later the name was changed to the “Minco Gas Co-op Ltd”In July of 1974, the Village of Innisfree donated the Old John Deere building to the Gas Co-op for their office. This building still is the office for Minco today.Pipeline construction began in December of 1974 just southwest of Vermilion. Minco turned on their first customer on January 12th, 1975.MINCO GAS CO-OP LTD. is a rural natural gas delivery utility we offer cost effective rates to our members with cooperative fundamentals.

We are looking for a reliable Office Administrator. They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently.. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. The office administrator ensures smooth running of our company’s office and contributes in driving sustainable growth.Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary
Requirements and skills
  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles (Sage Accounting an asset)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc.)
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $56,000.00-$62,500.00 per yearBenefits:
