Community Support invites applications for the Community Support Intern position in Inuvik, NT. Under the guidance of the Community Support Manager, the Community Support Intern provides assistance and guidance to the Community Corporations in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ISR) on appropriate systems and processes to capture their business transactions, facilitate reporting, and meet various statutory and other requirements.The Community Support Intern will act as a liaison between Community Corporations & Community Development Divisions on the application for and administration of contribution agreements and provide support to the Inuvialuit Harvesters Assistance Program (IHAP). Travel is required annually, mainly within the ISR and occasionally outside.The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education, experience, and knowledge:
