Job Description

Department InformationBeaufort Delta Divisional Education CouncilJob InformationThe Beaufort Delta Divisional Education Council actively promotes:

Candidates must complete a Bachelor of Education Degree and eligibility for a Northwest Territories Teaching Certificate.The following criteria will be important considerations in the hiring process:
  • Strong background in teaching Junior High ELA in class learning environment
  • Recent teaching experience in a 7 to 9 environment
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Knowledge of the prescribed NWT Curricula.
  • Experience using data to inform instructional decisions
  • Experience using Differentiated Instruction
  • Experience in the integration of technology into classroom instruction
