Job Description

Government, Commercial and Civil Society Sector Funding OpportunitiesConsistent with the IFA, Strategic Plan and priorities of subsidiaries, including Inuvialuit Community Corporations, as expressed from time to time the Intergovernmental Partnerships Lead:· Researches and develops an efficient system to inform and update the ICG about funding opportunities from all levels of government and private charitable foundations. These opportunities may include but are not limited to grants, financial contributions, in-kind contributions, and partnerships.· Provides an immediate and thorough analysis of each territorial and federal budget to identify new, modified and terminated funding opportunities to support a timely ICG public response to those budgets.· Works with directors and project managers to determine the suitability of each funding opportunity for the relevant ICG entity and the capacity of the organization to take on the program responsibilities if the proposal is funded.· Coordinates between directors and project managers where a funding opportunity may implicate different portfolios.· Works with project managers to prepare state-of-the art responses to funding opportunities, including working with the funder to ensure that the proposal meets all program criteria.· Provides quarterly reports to Senior Management regarding existing and anticipated government funding opportunities.· Participates in periodic Inuvialuit Regional Corporation internal committees in order to improve understanding of the needs of the organizations.Business and Organizational DevelopmentIn the course of this work, the Partnerships Coordinator:· Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs; studying requests for proposal (RFPs); attending strategy meetings.· Meets proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals.· Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals.· Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation; writing, revising, and editing drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials.· Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases.· Obtains approvals by reviewing proposal with key providers and project managers.· Works to improve proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate; implementing changes.· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks.· Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Other projects· Support the organization in internal and external communication as instructed.· Various other projects as required.Sundry duties as required.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per yearFlexible language requirement:
