The Policy Analyst (Analyst) will be primarily responsible for policy analysis, coordination, and support of several intergovernmental files – specifically on housing and infrastructure policy and programs. The Analyst shall participate in intergovernmental working groups, developing and implementing of workplans, drafting briefing notes on policy options, and collaboratively writing engagement reports.The Analyst will participate in the development of Inuvialuit-specific policy initiatives, policy, and legislative exercises through various internal and intergovernmental mechanisms. Other responsibilities include conducting research and developing recommendations that focus on improving Inuvialuit social, cultural, and economic conditions.The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education, experience, and knowledge:
