Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Business Development for the Inuvialuit Development Corporation (IDC), the Projects Manager is responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Business Development on all IDC joint venture operations, subsidiaries operations, as well as the administrative lead on assigned projects.The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education, experience, and knowledge:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, preferably in Business Administration
  • 4 - 6 years project management and administrative experience, ideally in a project management environment
  • Client-service orientation
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work effectively
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Organizational skills, including the ability to keep large volumes of information and requests organized effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to take initiative, exercise sound judgment, and work in a cross-cultural environment
