Inuvialuit Community Economic Development Organization (ICEDO) invites applications for ten (10) Reindeer Herd Monitors, as part of the Inuvialuit Reindeer Herding and Tagging Project. Under the guidance of the Director of ICEDO, the Reindeer Herd Monitors will assist with improving the health of and safety of the Reindeer herd, enabling the herd to grow and eventually become part of a Comprehensive Food Security Strategy in our Region.The short-term positions will run from December 15 – 23, 2022, and will be based approximately 80km north of Inuvik. Monitors will be required to provide their own snowmobile and will be paid a daily rate for equipment use.Travel, accommodations, and meals will be provided for the duration of the contract.The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education, experience, and knowledge:
