The Front Desk Agent provides exceptional guest satisfaction thorough the delivery of Service Beyond. You will enhance the guest's experience through personalized service and caring interactions.Job SummaryReporting to the Lodging Manager– A front desk agent is responsible for checking hotel guests in and out of their rooms. They are responsible for ensuring that every single guest has an enjoyable experience at the hotel. A few of the main duties of a front desk agent are greeting guests at the front desk, answering any questions, recommending activities and restaurants to guests, and answering any phone calls. They also must store any luggage as needed by guests. One of the most important skills that a front desk agent will have is attention to detail. Another skill is organization as the front desk agent will have to keep track of guests and their requests.Essential Functions: · Check guests in and out of their rooms· Answer any questions guests have· Make recommendations for activities and restaurants· Book activities and restaurants for guests.· Store any luggage guests have· Answer the phone and direct the call· Take reservations on the phone· Arrange transportation for guests· Maintain the record of guests that have checked in and outExperience and Requirements:

  • Must like having fun, smiling, and being part of a work family
  • Completion of high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Driver's license preferred
  • Previous Front Desk experience is an asset
  • Previous Hotel experience is an asset
  • Must enjoy giving a high level of customer service
  • Must have experience working with computers and answering phones
  • Must be able to lift 20lbs
  • Must possess safe work habits with awareness of safe work procedures
  • Must be flexible and adaptable under changing conditions, priorities, and unexpected situations
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays. This position may require overtime and altered scheduling according to occupancy levels
