Job Description

Job Summary: Follow procedures as given by the Executive Housekeeper to ensure overall organization of supplies and equipment for the following day and overall cleanliness of the resort.Duties:

  • Ensure the resort public spaces are kept clean and well-stocked with amenities;
  • Ensure public spaces are sanitized properly according to the health and safety guidelines;
  • Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and carpet shampoo machine;
  • Answer room calls as requested from the front desk;
  • Empty garbage’s;
  • Collect and empty soiled linen;
  • Look for issues throughout the resort and report or repair them as needed;
  • Work well with the front desk team to ensure overall guest satisfaction;
  • Work well with the housekeeping team to ensure to ensure a positive guest experience;
  • Work well with the maintenance team to ensure anything needing repair is reported and fixed in a timely manner.
Working Conditions:
  • Work with cleaning chemicals; proper use training will be provided.
Qualifications: Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Ability to be proactive;
  • Ability to respond to guests and other colleagues in a helpful and friendly manner;
  • Knowledge of basic math;
  • Ability to lift 50lbs safely;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to organize and plan;
  • Ability to handle guest concerns with the support of the management team.
Required Education, Training and Experience:
  • High School diploma
Required licenses, certificates and registrations:
  • First aid is an asset.
