Job Description

Line Cook/SupervisorStone Creek Resorts Inc. are the world-class golf resorts in the most beautiful natural surroundings, Silvertip Resort in Alberta, and Eagle Ranch Resort in British Columbia. Our service commitment, SERVICE BEYOND, set us apart from our competitors.We are looking for a Line Cook/Supervisor for Eagle Ranch Resort at Invermere, British Columbia.   • Preparing the necessary food items in accordance with standards in a timely and efficient fashion to ensure that there is no interruption to guest service.
  • Adhering to standardized recipes and specifications in order to maintain consistency and ensure all standards are met.
  • Following proper procedures to safely operate equipment for a safe work environment for coworkers and our guests.
  • Keeping all areas of the kitchen clean and sanitary using proper chemicals, tools and procedures.
  • Receiving and storing food deliveries using proper rotation and food handling practices.
  • Adhering to set out portion control, respectful food handling in order to contribute towards food cost targets.
  • Answering and responding positively to questions, concerns or menu feedback from our service team or guest concerns.
  • Having full knowledge of all menu items, daily features, event BEOs and promotions within the standards set out by Eagle Ranch Golf Resort.
  • Ensuring that station opening and closing procedures are carried out to standard.
  • Operating all kitchen equipment and conduct themselves with safety in mind at all times.
  • Reporting any and all deficiencies in kitchen equipment functionality and quality of food products to Chef de Partie/ Sous Chef in a timely fashion.
  • Following all Eagle Ranch policies and procedures as laid out in our employee handbook.
  • Completing other job-related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-4 years cooking experience in a minimum of two different kitchen departments i.e. Garde Manger, banquets, a la carte, breakfast etc.
  • Valid Food Safe Certificate
  • Red Seal Certificate (Journeymans papers) or Recognized International Equivalent
  • Diploma Certification in a Culinary discipline preferred
  • Able to work safely and organized in a fast-paced environment with others
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
