Featuring 46 holes of exhilarating golf, including two acclaimed World Top 100 courses, 72 rooms of award-winning accommodation, 19 Luxury Golf Villas, 8 Residences, 14 Hillside Homes with 24 additional homes currently under construction, and exquisite dining in three on-site restaurants, Cabot Cape Breton is intended to excite and inspire at every turn.Job DescriptionPosition OverviewAs an Ambassador for Cabot, you are the first – in person - smile to greet our guests upon arrival to the resort. You take pride in being a key member of the team responsible for Cabot Cape Breton’s world class first impression. You greet our guests by name and create that authentic personal connection that lets them know how special they are. While directing them to reception and porting luggage to their room, you offer personalized insights on services and amenities available.You COMMUNICATE clearly with the intent to connect and always act in a professional manner with guests and associates. You are proud to represent the Cabot brand, and proactively act as an ambassador and role model.Your WORK ETHIC is legendary, actioning precise instructions in a timely manner, enjoying the opportunity to demonstrate a refined craftsman approach to repetitive tasks, and proactively seek additional and new responsibilities. Knowing the importance of first impressions, you ensure the arrivals area is clean and delivers that world class first impression. You demonstrate a self-sacrifice and team-orientated attitude with a willingness to learn, PROBLEM SOLVE and present ideas.Executional Excellence

  • Greet guests upon arrival to the resort in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist guests with their luggage and escort them to their room upon completion of check-in with front desk. Provide information on room features, resort facilities and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure the arrivals area, driveway, the bell station, shelter, and surrounding areas are kept clean of debris.
  • Be knowledgeable of daily resort activities, group and VIP arrivals.
  • Provide valet as required. Includes opening car doors and parking guest vehicles.
  • Store and retrieve luggage, golf clubs, and other objects for guests as needed.
  • Communicate special guest requests to the Manager, Front Desk.
  • Offer guest assistance with:
o Providing directions and escorting whenever possible.o Transportation requests.o Bike rentals.
  • Deliver items to guest rooms as instructed.
  • Always ensure a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
QualificationsQualifications and Experience
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Ability to drive automatic and standard transmission vehicles is an asset.
Physical Demands
  • Work outdoors for several hours in varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, rain, snow and wind.
  • Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, reaching, or sweeping.
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, or otherwise move objects
