Minimum 12 month commitment required, otherwise repayment will be necessary upon resignation.Competitive wage includes hourly rate + commission + service charge (Starting at $70.23 per treatment based on a basic 60 minute service, up to $100.63 per high end 90 minute service)8% Retail commission and product incentivesPaid Vacation / Flexible Schedule OptionsComplimentary health club access (includes fitness centre, steam, sauna) and boat house rentalsSubsidized staff accommodation provided on-site for full time statusCompetitive extended benefits package including medical, vision and dental for full time permanent statusEmployee Travel ProgramComprehensive Wellness PlatformDiscounts on foodamp; beverage/spa/golfOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and over 5,000 properties with AccorWhat you will be doing: Reporting to the Spa Operations Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceFollow departmental policies and proceduresPerform all 30, 45, 60, 90 and 120 minute massage and body treatments as trainedEnsure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to needs and expectation while maintaining the clients comfort at all timesMaintain clean, hygienic and neat work environment at all times, ensuring all equipment are in safe working orderAdhere to Body Tech safety procedures and practices and departmental Emergency Procedures/Safety ManualActively participate in learning spa #39;s operations, i.e. body treatments, product knowledge, retail salesAssist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful waySupport other teams within department as required, i.e. Spa Attendants, Spa ReceptionOther duties as assignedYour experience and skills include:Previous experience as a Massage Therapist required (Minimum 1-2 years)Certification from an accredited school of Massage required, 2200 hour course is required (Certified Registered Massage Therapist)Registered within province of Alberta prior to beginning employmentCurrent professional licensesCPR and First Aid certification is requiredExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsibleamp; reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervisionAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesYour team and working environment:Fast-paced, upscale, luxury hotelClose proximity to Marmot Basin Ski Resort in winter and world-renowned hiking trails in summerHospitality employees worldwide making this a great place to develop lifelong connectionsSitting – 1-3 hrs/dayWalking: 1-2 hrs/dayStanding: 3-4 hrs/dayBending/Reaching: 1-3 hrs/dayPushing/Pulling: 1-2 hrs/dayPhysical effort: medium – required to lift up to 20 lbsVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
