What you will be doing:Reporting to the Recreation Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging services
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of Pool, hot tub,Kids, Games Rooms, Gymnasium, Recreation areas including health club thermal area, Change Rooms, and the Boathouse
  • Ensure an adequate supply of towels is maintained
  • Assist with special events and Holidays activities as required including organizing waivers
  • Responsible for float and management of all revenues during shift from rentals of equipment and sales of merchandise
  • Conduct and enhance departmental orientation and training for all new Recreation Colleagues
  • Assist with planning, organizing and leading children’s programs and Kids Camp for conference, and hotel package groups
  • Assist with weekly Departmental audits
  • Submit weekly month end inventory counts
  • Assist with familiarizing guests and colleagues to the Recreation facilities
  • Conduct History tours, nature walks, hikes, bike rides, and boat tours as necessary
  • Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
  • Deliver and present food and beverage items to guests
  • Process guest checks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
  • Other duties as assigned
