What you will be doing:Reporting to the Reservations Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
  • Follow Front Office policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Respond to all Room Reservation, Rate Offering and Hotel Information inquiries promptly and professionally via telephone, fax and/or E-mail.
  • Reserve hotel accommodations for guests in the Leisure, Business Travel, Convention/Association, Corporate Meetings and Wholesale (FITamp; IMM) market segments.
  • Accurately record all required reservation information in the Central Reservations System and/or the Opera Property Management System (PMS).
  • Review and update reservations interfacing between the Accor Reservation Systems.
  • Ensure reservation confirmations are issued promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor Hotel Inventory to maximize Room Revenues.
  • Drive the hotel’s upsell program by consistently offering best suitable room types according to guest needs and maximizing hotel revenue and earn incentive in accordance with company’s standards
  • Provide support to our colleagues at Fairmont Global Reservations Centre with guest booking needs.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and safeguarding guest privacy with the utmost confidentiality
  • Understand special promotions and ensure the information is communicated to various operational departments.
  • Ensure all cashier paperwork and journals are filed with Manager on duty on a daily basis.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when at work
  • Other duties as assigned
