With the continued support of poker players from all over the world, Playground continues to expand and further develop our service offerings for our valued guests. Conveniently located just 15 minutes south of downtown Montreal in the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, the complex currently offers over 40 poker tables and a selection of over 500 Electronic Gaming Devices (slots). In addition, Playground includes an inviting and locally renowned restaurant The Rail Coal Fire Bistro and is in the midst of an exciting expansion project that will include expanding the gaming floors, a stunning hotel and additional contemporary food and beverage outlets.Part-time & Full time available - Evening and Overnight Schedules -Competitive compensation! ($16.50-$20.00/hour based on experience)Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Line Cook will be responsible for preparing casual dining dishes. Your main responsibilities include prep, understanding the execution of orders, preparing dishes according to recipes, restocking, and keeping your station clean. To succeed in this role, you must have strong organizational skills, be a team player and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

• Adhere to prep lists and par levels
• Understand POS generated orders
• Execute dishes according to recipes in a timely manner and with the highest standards for quality
• Respect health and safety procedures
• Respect restocking par levels
• Close and clean station according to restaurant standards
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and chef

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in English or French and 18 years or older
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Has an excellent understanding of time management
• A positive and collaborative team player attitude
• Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of the shift
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, overnight hours and holidays

(16,50 $ à 20,00 $/heure selon lexpérience)Relevant du chef exécutif, le cuisinier sera responsable de la préparation des plats décontractés. Vos principales responsabilités comprennent la préparation, la compréhension de lexécution des commandes, la préparation des plats selon les recettes, le réapprovisionnement et la propreté de votre poste. Pour réussir dans ce rôle, vous devez avoir de solides compétences organisationnelles, être un joueur déquipe et aimez travailler dans un environnement au rythme rapide.Responsabilités:

• Adhérer aux listes de prep
• Comprendre les commandes générées par le système PDV
• Exécuter des plats selon les recettes avec les plus hauts standards de qualité
• Respecter les procédures de santé et de sécurité
• Respectez les niveaux de réapprovisionnement
• Station proche et propre selon les normes du restaurant
• Communiquer efficacement avec les collègues et le chef

Exigences:

• Doit parler couramment langlais ou le français et avoir 18 ans ou plus
• Excellentes aptitudes à la communication, aux relations interpersonnelles et à lorganisation
• Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches et à rester calme et professionnel dans un environnement en évolution rapide
• A une excellente compréhension de la gestion du temps
• Une attitude positive et collaborative de joueur déquipe
• Doit être capable de travailler sur vos pieds pendant la durée du quart de travail
• Flexibilité pour travailler divers quarts de travail, y compris les week-ends, les soirs, les heures de nuit et les jours fériés
