Job Description

Job DescriptionWHAT’S THE JOBJoin our NRB Modular Solutions team, where our people are driven by a desire to innovate, do social good, and move construction forward.As a Senior Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for the development, interpretation of engineering designs, drawings and specifications of design systems for modular building layouts to be used in manufacturing processes. The incumbent is accountable for producing detailed shop drawings, bill of material, technical reports and ensuring that design complies with applicable codes while confirming client design data and specifications. Your work will include:

  • Develop and prepare Revit designs and project specifications.
  • Develop and create detailed manufacturing drawings and specifications.
  • Provide technical assistance and input on new proposals and contracts.
  • Prepare proposal specifications and presentation documents in accordance with client and/or project requirements.
  • Create and check design information with consideration for accuracy, completeness and adherence to client specifications, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, provincial and local regulationsamp; NRB standards.
  • Collaborate with Structural, Mechanical and Electrical teams and consulting Engineering partners to complete designs and resolve challenges, ensuring of delivery within the schedule.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing facilities and field personnel.
  • Work with purchasing and vendors to source, review and specify equipment.
  • Develop, maintenance and improve products and items library.
  • Ensure codes and standards and company procedures are followed.
  • Manage and lead (at a technical capacity) the design task on day-to-day.
  • Other duties and responsibilities maybe required.
