DEMONSTRATOR TEAM MEMBERAre you friendly, outgoing, and love meeting peopleAre you always on the lookout for cool new products and then can #39;t help sharing their benefits with friends and familyDo you like to feel the rush of authentically selling products you believe in If you answered yes to any, or better yet all of these questions...this opportunity could be perfect for you!As part of our team, you will have aquot;day job quot; in one of our departments - wellness, grocery or even bistro.And, you will have the flexibility to take on the responsibility for demos and store events when they are required.You will manage events in store as well as engage the community in promoting and supporting those events.You will communicate directly with customers in a marketing capacity.With a welcoming approach, you will showcase the benefits, value and usefulness of highlighted products and will create excitement for these products within our store.Facilitating in-store demonstrations will allow you to generate interest and share incentives with our customers.***The successful candidate can expect to split their working hours between the duties of their home department and the responsibilities of events and demos.You must have excellent availability and be flexible as you will be scheduled a combination of weekday/weekend/morning/evening shifts***Regular Store Hours: Mon – Sat8:00am – 8:00pmSun 9:00am – 7:00pmPERKS:

  • Wage range: $17.50 - 19.50/hr experience dependent

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
  • You will have daily responsibilities in your home department with event and demo responsibilities when required
  • Give a warm “hello!” to our customers as they approach your area - we like building connections with our new and regular customers and sharing a laugh along the way.
  • Establishing a quick rapport with a wide variety of people and communicating in a style that is warm, relatable and genuine.
  • Staging, creating and assembling workstations using company provided demo kits (table cloths, cutting boards, utensils).Following all food safe practices.
  • Use your creativity and eye for detail to make attractive and organized displays.
  • Present information about all products being demonstrated in a confident, knowledgeable way ensuring you are highlighting benefits of the products.
  • Enhancing Nature #39;s Fare customer experience while creating a buzz about our offerings.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Experience in grocery and/or retail environment considered an asset but not required
  • Experience in a customer service role also an asset
  • A passion for local, organic and sustainable food and natural supplements
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - engaging with the public is your jam
  • Strong work ethic and desire to contribute to people’s health and wellbeing
  • Ability to work in an energetic, fast-paced environment
  • Like to have fun!
