Job Description

Renaissance Network Re-invent is seeking a motivated, self-starting individual to both effectively manage the existing customer base and develop new business.Reporting to the VP of Sales Operations, they will primarily act as the “Voice of the Customer” within Renaissance, effectively translating and communication customer requirements to internal functional groups (Planning, operations, Engineering, and Purchasing) to maintain KPI’s such as OTD, TAT, RMA and Scrap Metrics.*Responsibilities will include: *

  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of customer business and culture
  • Confidently and professionally interact with all levels of potential customer personnel
  • Understand and communicate the company value proposition. Strong negotiating skills that overcome customer obstacles and objections
  • Create strategies and implement tactical plans to increase account penetration. environment markets
  • Introduce new service offerings and expand existing customer accounts
  • Respond to all requests with accuracy and promptness. Work to customer deadlines and deliver “quote to close” salesmanship
  • Establish and maintain a high level of communications, trust, and integrity. Represent client requirements and expectations to internal teams.
  • Qualify leads and set out the account capture strategy, implementing the necessary tactical activities (RFP/Q and QBR’s) to meet company sales and revenue targets
  • Implement growth in both vertical and adjacent opportunities to the current engineering, manufacturing and repair activities through the use of an established Sales Process
  • Work closely with Renaissance Business Development function to understand industry trends and their impacts
  • Provide Management with regular updates and define on-going strategies to work within the customer base
Education:
  • University Degree or Technical College Diploma in Electronics Engineering or Business Administration
Qualifications:
  • Previous account experience with products and services in defense, telecommunications, or electronics manufacturing environment
  • Engineering or technical background, preferably in the military electronics field
  • Exposure to ISO 9001 QMS, knowledge of AS9110 requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding and negotiation of contractual Terms and Conditions
  • Previous Project Management experience a definite asset
  • Project Management principles – cost/schedule tracking, WBS, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work in a close-knit team environment as well as leading corporate relationships with customer base
  • Energy and commitment to solve last minute issues or customer demands.
  • Excellent computer skills with a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • ERP use – for example SAP, Baan, or AP
  • CRM use – in particular, Salesforce
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Telecommunications or Inventory transactional sales experience are assets
  • Knowledge of component purchasing procedures, especially in relation to anti-counterfeit parts mitigation
  • Configuration management principles – document revision levels, deviations, and waivers, ECO’s
