Your role will be extremely important as you will be responsible for all instructor-led customer training and developer workshops across the globe.   • Deliver technical training on all of Solace PubSub+ products and solutions to new and existing customers and partners
  • Deliver virtual training in different time zones for our customers in North American and APAC regions
  • Deliver and manage developer workshop
  • Assist with training & certification plans and materials either by enhancing existing materials or developing new content
  • Develop and maintain hands-on lab activities for training courses & workshops
  • Assist with LMS development, creation, and editing of online training videos and courses
  • Utilize a variety of training tools to enhance learning and the use of our products such as user guides, videos, tutorials, and e-learning
  • Maintain accurate training records
  • Design internal and external training and certification materials as well as course curriculum development for classroom courses
  • Solicit participant feedback and address areas for the opportunity as needed
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and documents progress of participants, communicating to respective managers as needed
  • Attend various training enhancement webinars for development and growth
  • Provide subject matter expertise and behave as a resource to managers, supervisors, preceptors, and others as needed
  • Available to travel 50-80% of the time globally (future: post covid)
Skills & ExperienceAn ideal candidate will have the following required skills and experience:
  • Technical degree (e.g. Computer Science) or 5 years relevant work experience in the technical industry
  • 5+ years of experience in a Technical Trainer or similar role
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with designing and managing technical training programs and workshops
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with developing applications in different programming languages such as Java, C#, C/C++, and JavaScript.
  • High proficiency in working with Learning Management Systems
  • Comfortable operating in new domains with high ambiguity and little direction
  • Self-starter, with proven experience of working on programs/projects with a geographically dispersed team
  • Solid project management skills including, planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, working with stakeholders, and doing whatever it takes to deliver reliable results
  • Experience in developing self-paced e-Learning courses, curriculums, storyboards, online tutorials, quiz assessments, and certifications will be an asset
This role can be performed virtually/remotely in Canada/US. Once the Covid situation is behind us all, we expect you to travel and deliver training in person on the customer’s site, at least 50-80% of the time.
