Job Description

Position DescriptionPERFORMANCE COACH - CYCLINGWhat is a Performance Cycling CoachA Performance Cycling Coach provides high quality coaching, engagement and instruction in our state-of-the-art Performance Cycling Studio. Our Performance Cycling Coaches possess elite coaching skills and the ability to deliver world class fitness experiences to our Performance Members driving participation in classes and creating a sense of community.Do you have what it takes

  • Ability to inspire, entertain and energize all participants
  • Ability to attract and motivate people to do their best
  • Ability to perform at your peak every day with elite coaching skills
  • Previous successful experience in the Health and Fitness industry
  • Previous cycle experience in a group, small group or team training capacity
  • Knowledge of coaching to watts, speed, and cadence.
  • Cycling Coach, Personal Training, Fitness Instructor certification or equivalent
  • RPM certification and/or TRIP certification or willingness to take
  • Personal leadership, and the ability to demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and maintain credibility as a professional and a willingness to continue to learn
  • Must be committed to contributing to a culture that celebrates diversity, equity and inclusion and embraces social and environmental responsibility
What will you be doing
  • Delivery of an exceptional, effective and safe cycling experience for Members
  • Promotion of the Performance Cycle program and helping build a community
  • Act with integrity, building trusting relationships within the team and across the company
  • Coach a variety of cycling workouts in a state-of-the-art training studio
  • Work with your fellow coaches and Club to ensure programming is on trend, innovative and well attended.
  • Learning from the best and building a strong program and Team.
  • Handle any Performance Member concerns and inquires in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner and discuss with Performance Head Coach or Club Management
  • Support and promote all GoodLife programs and services.
  • Assist in maintaining club cleanliness – especially in Performance Studio areas.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with Management and other Associates of the Club and across the Performance Program community
