Job Description

RESTAURANT TEAM MEMBER FOR MUCHO BURRITO KANATA CENTRUMMucho Burrito Kanata is a casual dining/fast food restaurant and Drive Thru that serves fresh Mexican food. We are a fast paced, high volume restaurant located at 160 Earl Grey Drive in the Kanata Centrum. We are currently filling full time “Team Member” positions. Team Members report to the Assistant Manager and Owners and work with other Team Members to ensure that guests are serviced in a courteous, accurate, timely manner, by preparing menu items while maintaining a clean, sanitary environment, and ensuring guest service is the number one priority.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing customer orders in a clean, timely, attentive and friendly manner for both eat-in and drive thru guests
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, washrooms, “line” and kitchen
  • Prepare portions of chips, salsa etc. to specified amounts
  • Grill meats, follow and prepare recipes, and maintain required food levels
  • Wash dishes
  • Organize the restaurant and put away drink, food and paper orders
  • Address customer questions and/or concerns and in a professional, respectful, and friendly manner
  • Keep up to date on restaurant policies, practices, emails and postings
Qualifications:
  • Experience- Proven success in food industry, Drive thru and POS systems are an asset
  • Personal vehicle an asset
  • Personal Suitability; hard worker and enjoys being busy, mature, positive attitude, ability to take direction, ability to take initiative, flexible, reliable, professional, ability to multi-task, ability to problem solve, ability to work under pressure and under stressful situations
