Job Description

Warehouse Person Kelowna, BCPermanent Full-TimeReference Number: CAN-BC-KEL-129-260825SummaryReporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Warehouse Person is responsible for efficiently and accurately assembling products for customer orders, loading orders onto customers’ trucks, receiving inventory from suppliers, and receiving and restocking customer returns.Expected Contributions

  • Unload building material supplies safely and promptly from delivery trucks and properly place in the warehouse.
  • Ensure that receiving documentation policies and item/product tagging guidelines are followed.
  • Processes receiving tallies and reports any damages or discrepancies.
  • Accurately, efficiently, and safely picks and assembles customer orders.
  • Assist customers by loading orders onto delivery trucks.
  • Conducts spot inventory counts.
  • Receives and restocks inventory returns.
  • Maintains a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Adheres to all work safety rules and regulations.
  • Adheres to customer service commitments.
RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Minimum two years of warehouse experience and be familiar with the order picking process.
  • Receiving experience is an asset.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds or 23 kilograms
  • Certification in the following equipment is required: counterbalance forklift.
  • Doman is willing to train in-house.
  • Bending, lifting, and reaching during course of shift.
  • Must have own steel-toed boots.
BenefitsCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe typical hiring range for this position is $22.00 – $26.75 per hour. The base pay offered is based on geographical location and may vary depending on the applicant’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Similar positions located in other geographical locations may not necessarily receive the same salary range.
