JOB OVERVIEW:You will be responsible for making sure your building looks clean, presentable, and inviting at all times. Some of the duties and responsibilities include maintaining common areas, washrooms, mopping, sweeping, and wiping down the glass and other surfaces.LOCATION: Vancouver, BCSHIFT DAYS: Monday - Friday (Full Time)SHIFT TIME: 3 PM TO 11 PMWAGE: $ 19.31/HR.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Clean offices, auditoriums, class rooms, washrooms, kitchen, dining areas, halls,entrances/exits, reception areas and more• Ensure proper sanitazationamp; disinfection procedures are followed• Replenish supplies as needed• Ensure garbage disposal in proper bins• Clean all dryamp; wet spills throughout facility as required• Maintainamp; secure storage areas, cleaning equipmentamp; materials in an orderly manner• Report equipment repairs and stock shortages• Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs• Other duties as assigned.SKILLS AND ABILITIES:• Abiltiy to use auto scrubbers, burnishers, carpet cleaning equipment,amp; tucker pole• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment• Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System• Ability to readamp; understand lablesamp; instructions• Previous custodial experience an asset• Acceptable security and criminal record check.REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to pass Canadian Background Check
