Job Description

GAP Auto is a leading national chemical manufacturer of industrial & automotive cleaning chemicals. We are currently looking for a Chemical Blender for our New Brunswick production center. We manufacture liquid and powder cleaning products and the chosen candidate will be a direct part of the manufacturing by mixing the raw materials according to the different batch sheets.Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Chemical Blender performs all the functions listed below:

  • Accurately measure and weight ingredients according to batch sheets in a timely manner;
  • Mix raw materials according to instructions;
  • Wearing necessary PPE at all times in the plant;
  • Ensures the quality of finished products;
  • Fill out the bill of materials;
  • Perform cleaning duties as required, on work equipment and working areas;
  • Drive a forklift when required.
Working Conditions
  • Location: Keswick Ridge NB
  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday from 8300 am to 5:00 pm
  • Benefit program;
  • Competitive vacation time;
  • Limited paid sick time.
Requirements
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent;
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position;
  • High level of personal initiative and sound judgment;
  • Excellent English communication (verbal, written and reading);
  • Ability to lift 27kgs (50 lbs) throughout the day;
  • Forklift license;
  • WHMIS trained;
  • TDG trained.
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $16.00-$23.00 per hourAdditional pay:
