Job Description

As Veriforce #39;s Vertical Marketing Manager, you #39;ll be the driving force behind one of our targeted sectors, such as North American energy, utilities, or municipalities, or another. You’ll own the entire marketing funnel; from top-of-the-funnel acquisition through to closed revenue. You will partner with Sales and the SDR team to ensure marketing programs and spend are accurately tracked and attributed. To help with growth, you’ll do landscape analysis and customer research to uncover new opportunities and trends, create impactful campaigns and improve the customer journey. Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Take full ownership of the marketing strategy for the vertical, understanding that the success of the product and, consequently, the role itself hinges on effective marketing execution.
  • Take full ownership of the full funnel view, from top-of-the-funnel marketing down to closed revenue.
  • Continuously optimize initiatives to maximize lead generation, conversion rates, and customer retention, proactively adjusting strategies as needed with a relentless focus on revenue generation.
  • Implement impactful campaigns targeting different stages of the customer journey within your assigned vertical.
  • Work closely with sales and SDRs, fostering a strong partnership for successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to track key performance indicators and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
  • Significant industry-specific experience in vertical product marketing or related roles, preferably within sectors such as North American energy, municipalities, utilities.
  • Proven success in managing projects and creating effective revenue-driven marketing campaigns within the specified verticals.
  • Advanced proficiency with SEO, SEM, digital and traditional advertising, events, social media, marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and website optimization.
  • Technical proficiency in data analysis, Excel modeling, campaign tracking, and performance measurement.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in innovative marketing, sales operations, or product marketing in SaaS, with a focus on the specified verticals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
