Job Description

OT in CLINIC (KING LOCATION) - CONTRACTOR POSITIONThe Superminds clinic is opening, and we are hiring! We are currently looking for individuals with experience working with autistic children to fill one contractor Occupational Therapist position. The Occupational Therapist will provide occupational therapy services to autistic children ages 2-8 in our clinic, in King, Ontario. Services provided will be one-on-one or in a group setting.Qualifications:

  • A degree/Master’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Experience in the field is an asset
  • Recent Vulnerable Sector Screening (last 6 months)
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Experience working with children with Autism is considered an asset
Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services (consultation, screening, assessment, treatment) to clients
  • Knowledge of OT treatments with equipment implementation and ways to address functional impairments associated with cognitive, psychosocial, and physical limitations
  • Use evidence-based treatment plans
  • Collaborate with colleagues and families
  • Maintain records in keeping with COTO standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
