Job Description

Repair Planner:Job description:The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the vehicle repair process in the body shop. The role includes preliminary mapping and blueprinting of vehicles, teardown at vehicle intake, coordination of efficient repair process, complete monitoring of quality of work as well as consumption of materials and safety of workers. The Production Manager must be an effective leader with good understanding of insurance claims procedures and policies.Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years experience in Management or leadership within the automotive industry.
  • Able to write damage collision appraisal sheets and supplements.
  • Knowledgeable on repair and insurance claims processes.
  • Proficient on Management Software (Mitchell and/or Summit), Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Estimating Software (Audatex and/or Mitchell).
  • Flexible/adaptable to constant change.
  • Highly organized; has ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Strong tact and diplomacy; has ability to interact with all levels of employees.
  • Work independently without close supervision.
