Want to get involved We want to hear from you!Summary:As a member of the Sanitation department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility. Working independently and in coordination with other Sanitation team members and other departments, you are to ensure that daily and weekly tasks are complete. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, energetic and, capable of working in a fast paced highly regulated environment.This position is based out of Kingsville, Ontario.Job Duties:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation within production and non-production areas of the facility; including, but not limited to the lunchrooms, bathrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Sanitation of cannabis present areas, equipment, and processing lines.
• Operation of crate washers, trolley washer and tool/utensil washing stations.
• Daily and weekly tracking of tasks to be monitored in sanitation logs as per Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ability to perform individual tasks independently and accurately in a timely manner.
• Report any noncompliance concerns to ensure regulations are being met within the facility.
• Ensure all washroom supplies are always fully stocked.
• Ensure all PPE, gowning materials, and sanitation supplies for production are always fully stocked.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Practical working knowledge of health and safety regulations and trained in WHMIS procedures to deal with equipment, cleaning chemicals, and facility upkeep.
• An understanding of janitorial and basic cleaning duties.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and kneel and able to lift 30 pounds or more.
• Must be able to provide clear criminal record check.
• Organization skills and ability to work efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to wear the appropriate PPE.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently and as a team member.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends.

• Work environment can be warm and humid.
• Standing and walking for long periods of time.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Ability to perform a series of repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
