Job Description

If you have a passion for agriculture and experience in Human Recourses, or are interested in getting your HR career started, we would love to talk to you.We are exited to announce that we are adding a new HR Generalist role to our location here in Kipling, SK.The Human Resources Generalist designs, implements and monitors human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, equal opportunity and diversity, etc. This role will assist in anticipating and planning for long-term human resource needs and trends.Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all recruitment life cycle activities including: candidate tracking log, interviews and collaborate with HRSS Team to ensure hiring effectiveness and maximize recruiting efficiency
  • Coach managers with employee relations issues to ensure candid and timely feedback, documentation and actions plans to resolve. Escalates employee issues to the Human Resource Manager, as needed.
  • Provide HRBP support on core HR processes (i.e. Performance Management, Rewards, Benefits, Onboarding, Offboarding).
  • Manage workforce planning to align business staffing initiatives and formulate and implement innovative recruitment strategies and plans to recruit a diverse workforce
  • Maintain timely and accurate data in HRIS and provide routine analytics through PowerBI Reporting.
  • Identify and assess the training needs for the business unit and employees through job analysis, career paths and consultation with managers. Develop individualized training programs for employees with managers. Plan and conduct on-site training programs that address specific business needs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met and embedded in the business.
  • Support the Health & Safety Program working closely with the Health and Safety team and the Site Safety Advocate to increase Health & Safety.
  • Champion the Employee Survey and other HR activities to ensure the positive employee relations.
  • Act as liaison between HR Shared Services; answer employee questions and escalate to the appropriate specialist, as needed.
  • Assist in special HR projects, as needed.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Business Administration or HR Management preferred; high school diploma is required
  • 2-3 Years of experience in Human Resources is preferred; experience working in an office setting is required
  • Ability to work in and maintain performance expectations in diverse cultural contexts and fast-paced environment
  • Work requires continual attention to detail and ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality at all times.
  • Demonstrated group presentation and training skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%
Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per yearSchedule:
  • Day shift
