Job Description

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Contract Administrator to join our Infrastructure group that would apply their knowledge and previous work experience to manage construction of municipal infrastructure in Southern and Southwestern Ontario and GTA. This role provides an exciting opportunity in construction management supporting our communities with vital water and Wastewater Infrastructure. This is a hybrid role.A well-qualified Contract Administrator will work with our engineering team of designers and site representatives to provide contract administration and risk management, and to evaluate compliance requirements defined in construction contracts including review of regulations and Client requirements.Primary Responsibilities

  • Interpret contract documents and ensure compliance
  • Manage the measurement of construction progress and the preparation of payment certificates
  • Review, provide recommendations on, and resolve Contract Change Requests and Claims while managing change management processes
  • Provide conflict resolution and field solutions with respect to unforeseen construction issues
  • Manage responses to Requests for Information
  • Lead construction progress meetings and prepare minutes
  • Liaise with the contractor, client and Municipal officials on project updates and progress, including preparation and issuance of project reports
  • Other duties as assigned
