Job DescriptionMission CIMA+ is currently seeking applications for the position of Designer to join our Transportation Department in any of the following Ontario offices: Kitchener, London, Burlington, Bowmanville, Ottawa or Mississauga. Reporting to Senior Staff, the Designer will be responsible for aiding in the development of multidisciplinary municipal functional, preliminary, and detailed design plans, in support of a wide variety of transportation planning and design projects across Ontario.Example projects the applicant can expected to be involved in / support are: Preliminary Design and Environmental Assessment Studies, Feasibility Studies, functional design components of Complete Street / Transportation Masterplan studies, Traffic Management/Control Plans, and Traffic Signals Design. The successful candidate will join one of Canada’s leaders in transportation planning and traffic engineering, with provincial and municipal clients throughout Ontario and beyond; and will receive training in the design of a number of transportation planning / design elements including, and not limited to:
