Job Posting: General Contractor / Handyman Location: Kitchener-Waterloo Area Company: GCBS Group Wage: $35–$45 per hour (based on experience)GCBS Group is currently hiring experienced General Contractors / Handypeople to join our growing team servicing commercial clients throughout the Kitchener and Waterloo areas.We specialize in commercial handyman service calls—fast, efficient, and high-quality repair and renovation work for businesses and commercial properties.Position Details:This is a contractor position for those with proven experience in general handyman services. You’ll be dispatched to commercial sites for a variety of service calls.Duties Include (but not limited to):

• Drywall repairs and installation
• Tile repair and installation
• Painting (interior/exterior touch-ups and full jobs)
• Renovations and light construction
• Demolition and site cleanup
• Caulking and sealing
• General repair and maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant handyman or contracting experience
• Must have your own vehicle (travel is required to job sites across Kitchener-Waterloo)
• Must have your own tools suitable for general handyman work
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls professionally
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude

Compensation:

• $35–$45/hour, depending on experience and capabilities
• Regular and ongoing commercial service call work
• Flexible scheduling and independence in your role
