Your role will encompass a wide array of responsibilities, from delivering primary care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses to collaborating with stakeholders on health hazard identification and control measures.Key Responsibilities:- Mitigate workplace illness and injury through timely response and early intervention.- Provide consultation on workers #39; fitness for work, clinical assessment, and management of injury and illness cases.- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote worker well-being.- Support health promotion initiatives and administer immunizations as required.- Ensure meticulous maintenance of medical records and compliance with confidentiality protocols.- Provide leadership in clinical training and mentorship for on-site nurses.- Conduct quality control audits and identify opportunities for process improvements.- Liaise with key client stakeholders to optimize occupational health services program performance.Qualifications:- Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.- Demonstrated ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.- Proficiency in mental health crisis management or relevant experience.- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional emergency response training preferred.- Certification in audio and spirometry testing is advantageous, otherwise training will be provided :)- Nurse Practitioner: Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and Masters degree in nursing preferred.If you #39;re passionate about occupational health, possess exceptional leadership skills, and are eager to make a difference in a dynamic work environment, we invite you to join our team and embark on a fulfilling career journey with us.
