Job Description

Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for a Full-time reception Security Guard in Vaughan, Ontario.Details:

  • Shift: Monday - Thursday Nights 10:00 PM - 6:00 Am
  • Reception Security Guard
  • Must Drive
  • Full Time
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems). Enforce regulations of establishments.
  • Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
  • Visitor Access Control.
  • Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
  • Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
  • Monitor security cameras.
  • Operate security control room equipment.
  • Patrolling.
  • Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
  • Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
  • Report writing.
Qualifications, Required License, or Certification:
  • Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • CPR Level C Certified.
  • Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Must be available to work Sunday - Thursday Nights.
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional work ethics.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs site-specific.
  • Excellent Customer Service.
