Join us today!2021-05-05We are currently looking for an interested candidate for the Recycling Technician position. This job is on the 8h dayshift from 07h00 to 15h30 from Monday to Friday. Replacement for an indefinite period.RESPONSIBILITIES:Recover solvents and raw material samples from Laboratory;Verify that the chemical drums (flush, wash, etc.) and pallets coming from the packaging lines are well sealed (drums) and well identified for destruction before loading them in the van;Prepare the identification labels that correspond to the hazardous material that are loaded in the van for shipment;Fill the Bill of Lading (BOL - shipping document) properly for hazardous material.QUALIFICATIONS:Training Transport for Dangerous Goods - Expeditor (TDG- Expeditor);Demonstrated experience in recycling field;High School Leaving or equivalent;Bilingual (English & French);Autonomy;Lift Truck training – mandatory;Knowledge of AS/400, Windows (Excel, Outlook, Word);Good knowledge of WHMIS;Be able to lift up to 15kg (approx. 30lbs).NOTE: Interested individuals are asked to submit their C.V. through the DayForce platform before 2021-05-15.Other detailsPay Type Hourly Employment Indicator Indirect Travel Required No Required Education High School
