Extraction TechnicianPosition OverviewThe Extraction Technician supports the preparation and execution of the extraction process.This position is in a licensed facility and is responsible for assisting in monitoring and maintaining extractions of cannabis oil, workplace cleanliness, safety and efficiency of the manufacturing processes. The Extraction Technician will follow the company’s standard operating procedures and quality control measures to maintain production of high-quality products. The position is responsible for carrying out day-to-day tasks including cannabis prepping, cleaning, measuring, and assisting with extracting, refining, and packaging of cannabis products. The extraction technician will perform processing of extracts from biomass to final extract products.This position also requires flexibility in hours. Initial training will take place during regular business hours with the possible intent that the technician will extend the work day to enable additional extractions per day.Lab experience and/or knowledge of chemistry is preferred but not required.Time Management, Communication, Attendance and Punctuality are vital to the execution of these tasks. Upon completion of training, the ability to work safely and independently is a requirement.Report To: Lab ManagerEssential Responsibilities and duties
