Your days will include:
  • Gather and document business requirements for data-related projects. Filter through user requests to determine the underlying true needs.
  • Support project delivery of data-related projects.
  • Implement and manage the HyLife data warehouse
  • Support LOB department analytics with standardized, secure datasets, query support, and training, reporting tools support and training, documentation, SOPs, and examples.
  • Log and track support incidents for various data-related issues from users and provide responses.
  • Modify or create customized reports using packaged software reporting tools, advanced Excel reports, and other analytical and business intelligence tools.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
  • Post-Secondary Education in Computer Science, or related
  • 3 years in a data or report-centric technical role
  • Understanding of database models with the ability to connect, query, and extract data for reporting or troubleshooting purposes
  • Knowledge of SQL, pivot tables, statistics, data warehouse design, ETL
  • Report writing skills including charts, graphs, dashboards, etc.
  • Problem-solving and investigative skills including information gathering and troubleshooting
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in technical documentation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
