NLSD #113 invites applications for the position of a permanent full-timeIT FIELD SERVICE STRUCTURED CABLING TECHNICIANNorthern Lights School Division #113 has an opening for an IT Field Service Technician based out of La Ronge, SK. The successful candidate will be a member of the ICTS Team. The ideal candidate is solution oriented and client focused in the field delivery of timely, meaningful, and transparent information technology solutions in support of the educational process.The school division consists of one central office located in La Ronge, one sub-office located in Beauval and 20 schools in beautiful northern Saskatchewan thus extensive travel to remote locations will be required. The successful candidate must be willing to relocate.The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships. Demonstrated experience equivalent to or verified by certification in a majority of the following areas: BICSI Standards, Premise Wiring, Fluke, CompTIA A+, MCSE: Desktop Infrastructure, MOS or MCSA: Office 365, CompTIA Network+ and CCENT. They must have proven experience working in standards-based design, documentation, and installation of data and communications cable infrastructure for data, VoIP, IP and Analog CCTV systems. Professional competency in handling power tools and the determination and communication of project requirements from research, documentation, and maps is required. Developed verbal, listening, written, and digital communication skills are essential, as the individual will be required to interact with and assist staff division-wide.
